1. "Come On With It"-----Money Train

Imagine singer Till 1 (sculpted bodybuilder body, usually naked above the waist) with true southern soul songwriting talent and performance skills. That's Money Train. If this isn't a hit single, it's the dues-paid near-miss of a performer on the cusp of greatness. I slept through "Tricking" even though its haunting musical line ("spending money on you...") loitered anonymously in the back rooms of my mind until "Come On With It" made me serious about getting to know the man. Listen to the vocal. Money Train takes a melody that might have sounded trivial or commercial under lesser execution and transforms it into authentic drama through veteran-level vocalizing. Notes sustained with mountain stream purity. Prescient vocal inflections in just the right places. And all of it basking in vibes as country as a deep-fried onion. That lead guitar ain't sluffing off either.
